Welcome!

Welcome to iMedX, the International Medical eXchange

We are a non-profit professional network created by physicians, medical students, and nurses dedicated to improving global health. This site launched officially in April 2008 for all those in healthcare who are interested in global medicine. We aim to help you connect with other physicians, medical students, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners with similar interests.

- Announce need for supplies, books, medications, equipment, or volunteers
- Find or announce events
- Discuss the latest issues, news, organizations, and events
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to conduct research, start a medical mission, or share ideas
- Meet and network with other healthcare professionals with the same passions and interest
- Establish international contacts for exchange programs, interchange visiting fellowships/study abroad rotations, and more!
- Stay in touch with colleagues and friends
- Start your own group (essentially a free advanced, web 2.0, mailing list) for your own organization, school, topic, or friends/colleagues
- Receive email alerts on latest international health jobs, fellowships, and other opportunities
- Share photos from global health projects and dedicated international medical professionals

Above all, this site is here to help you! Let us know how we can help. This website is run and was started by physicians who have a passion for international medicine. Please invite a colleague today and spread the word!
